MICROBLADING CLASS AND APPRENTICESHIP
Education Tree of Cosmetology, LLC (ETofC)
- Program: 52 weeks; 2-Day Class and Apprenticeship Including
Starter Kit ($300 value)

- Cost: $7195* in payment program: Includes Apprentice as an Independent Contractor
Deposit and payment for the 2 day class is due upon registration ($1995). Payments of $434 are due monthly, for 12 months (Other payment programs may be available upon request, this is our minimum contract package, Class Certificate and CT Training Permit will be presented after 2 day of training)
- Cost of 2-Day Class with No Apprenticeship Contract: $2495
- Prerequisites: 2 Red Cross Certification must be completed before the class date: Blood Borne Pathogens and Adult First Aid (must be presented at class)
- Class dates will be posted on Website, etofc.com, or you may be added to a ‘wait-list’ upon request. Break-time refreshments will be provided, if you need any ‘special diet’ requirements we will accommodate as much as possible i.e. Gluten Free (or you may bring your own snacks, etc.)
- Apprenticeship particulars will be discussed and arranged by the instructor per her availability and student specifics, this information will be supplied at the class and/or in the intake interview and will take into account each student’s information, availability and requirements of the State of Connecticut
- Please be aware, at some point in your training, clients may be provided by ETofC, through our advertising and other sources. These clients will be charged at a discounted rate which will be paid to ETofC. Clients which you provide as part of your training, will not be charged by ETofC.
For Students trained at another Facility:
*These prices are for new students only. If a student/apprentice has been trained in another state or by another instructor, an evaluation will be required by the ETofC instructor and the apprenticeship and pricing will be established on a case-by-case basis. Some guidelines will be:
- Class only with no apprenticeship: $2495 (2 – day class, includes starter kit)
- Apprenticeship with prior training: $5695
- Starter kit may be purchased separately for $300
- Insurance is included
The State of Connecticut has the following requirements for Microblading and Permanent Make-Up:
- A notarized state training permit must be submitted to the state, which is signed and dated by a licensed tattoo technician and the student
- The student must acquire a total of 2000 hours of supervised apprenticeship in order to qualify for a tattoo technician license. (Includes class hours)
- There is a maximum of 2 years from the date the training permit is submitted to the state to acquire the necessary 2000 hours
- When in an apprenticeship and/or applying for a tattoo technician’s license, Two (current) certifications are also required: a. Blood Borne Pathogens and b. Adult First Aid
Instructional Microblading Class
Two Day Instruction Microblading ($2495)

This 2 day (5+ hours each) class will be concentrated on learning how to keep you and your client safe, and “how to microblade eyebrows”. Other Classes, Training/Practice Days and possible acceptance into an apprenticeship, may be available and will also be discussed.
Included in class:
1. Micro-Blading Practice Kit and Starter Kit with supplies and pigments, etc.(end of Apprenticeship)
2. First Aid Certification
3. Blood Borne Pathogens Certification
4. CPR Certification
(These must be completed before receiving your Attendance Certificate; after class registration and payment has been received in full, may be taken in advance of class if desired)
What you will learn:
Day 1
Kit: Going over what’s in the kit and what each item is used for
Sterilization and Sanitation practices meeting CDC requirements
Learning to do a thorough Consultation
Client Form and Medical History
Screening clients for contraindications
Going over an Informed Consent with your client
Client Preparation and Instruction
Getting the client’s approval is mandatory before proceeding!
Addressing client expectations
Explanation of the Equipment differences, and suggestions
Introduction to Microblading Procedure
Day 2
Review and discussion of Day 1
‘Art’ of Hair Strokes – Demo
Proper shaping of the eyebrow for a client’s face (Mapping)
Introduction to Color Theory – color matching, coordinating & blending
In-Class Hands-On Practice on artificial skin
Homework: Practice on artificial skin
